Memorento

Your year at a glance: why 2026 deserves a place on the wall

The year 2026 made of photos on dark green, with “Lotte, Emma & Lucía” above it. Framed on the wall on New Year's Eve, above a sideboard with champagne, lit sparklers, party hats and gold confetti, beside a window with fireworks over the canal houses.

Your camera roll tells the story of your 2026, in hundreds of moments.

Before you know it, we’ll be ringing in a new year. So much has happened in the past months. Scroll through your camera roll now and you see a visual diary of your 2026: that spontaneous road trip in spring, laughing faces on the summer holiday, the birthdays, the small wins at work and the cosy Sunday mornings at home. Hundreds of moments that together tell the story of your year.

We often solemnly promise ourselves to make a photo book at the end of the year. But be honest: who still has the time and patience to spend evenings fiddling with layouts, ordering pages and fighting slow software? With Memorento you skip the frustration and turn the best photos of your 2026 into one breathtaking artwork in a few minutes.

The alternative to the traditional yearbook

The year 2026 made of photos on dark green, with “Lotte, Emma & Lucía” above it. The same artwork framed, held in two hands.

A Memorento photo mosaic in the shape of the year 2026 is the most modern and the cosiest way to round off your year. Instead of a book that ends up gathering dust on a shelf, you give your memories a permanent, stylish place in your home.

From a distance it’s a clean, graphic statement on the wall. Every photo is a little shelf in the memory of 2026. It’s the perfect gift for yourself, for your partner, or to build together as a family and look back on everything you’ve lived through in the past twelve months.

The ultimate showstopper on New Year’s Eve

Made with AI

With the poster, Memorento gives you the Immersive video: a breathtaking, flowing film of your memories. And that video is pure gold over the holidays:

  • A New Year’s Eve traditionWhile the snacks are on the table and you wait for the clock to strike twelve, put this video on the TV.
  • Reliving it togetherWatch the photos of 2026 flow into each other and come together into the year. The whole family gathers round the TV, swaps stories and relives the best moments. It’s the perfect, warm icebreaker to look back together with gratitude before the fireworks begin.

Ready in a few minutes (so there’s time left for the holidays)

Selecting a whole year of photos sounds like a huge job, but the Memorento Mac app is your digital assistant that does all the heavy lifting:

  • Smart local selection

The software scans your Photos library locally on your Mac and, from the person, couple or album you choose, takes only the photos from 2026 (“Only photos from 2026”). No accounts to create, no huge files to upload to the cloud, 100% private and secure.

  • Automatic harmony

No puzzling over which photo goes where. The app spreads the hundreds of moments so that a beautiful, balanced mosaic appears in which the colours match perfectly.

  • A premium finish

We print the overview of your year on heavyweight matte art paper and deliver it, framed if you like. A lovely gift to put under the tree or to hang straight away.

From research

Nostalgia strengthens social bonds and brings positive feelings. A mosaic of your own photos is nostalgia on the wall.

Frequently asked questions about a year in photos

What’s the quickest way to make a year-in-review photo book or collage?

With Memorento you don’t design pages by hand. From the person, couple or album you choose, the Mac app automatically takes the photos from 2026 and turns them into a beautiful mosaic artwork in a few minutes, with the Immersive video for your TV.

Can I combine the whole family’s photos for our 2026 review?

Yes, easily. Gather everyone’s best photos (through a shared iCloud album or AirDrop, for example) in one album in the Photos library on the Mac that runs the app, and choose that album in the app. It takes the photos from 2026 and turns them into one family masterpiece.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Memorento reads your Photos library on your own Mac and builds the artwork there. Only when you order a print does the finished print file go to our print partner.

What sizes are there?

50 × 70 cm, 70 × 100 cm and A0 (84 × 119 cm), unframed or in a black, white or natural wood look frame. The digital artwork is a print-ready file, so you can also have it printed yourself.

Capture your 2026 for good

Don’t let the best moments of this year gather digital dust on your hard drive. Open the app on your Mac, choose the year 2026 and in a few minutes watch your own year in review come to life.
