Terms of sale
Memorento by LoRisCo BV
2026-10-26.1
1. Who we are
Memorento is sold by LoRisCo BV, Keizersgracht 572, 1017 EM Amsterdam, KvK 42130960. You can reach us at support@memorento.com; see also our company details (https://www.memorento.com/en/company/).
We remain your seller and your contact for payment, delivery, complaints and refunds. We use payment, production and delivery providers to carry out your order. Their agreements with us do not replace these terms or reduce your consumer rights.
2. What we sell
The Memorento app is free. It runs on a Mac with macOS 14 or later and makes a photo mosaic from your own Photos library, on your Mac.
Your artwork: the print-ready poster file of one mosaic (PDF and 300 ppi image) and upload links for friends to add photos. Bought once per mosaic; a first printed poster of a mosaic includes it.
The show: every scene as a video, with the Show Player, as files to keep.
A printed poster: your mosaic printed, and framed if you choose, by one of our print partners, and delivered to your door.
Gift codes: a credit in euros to spend in the app on any of the above. A code does not expire; what is left after a purchase stays on it. Codes cannot be exchanged for cash, except when you withdraw (section 5).
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in euros. For buyers in the European Union they include VAT. Print prices include delivery to the address you choose; the app shows the exact total, the delivery options and their dates before you pay.
You pay on Stripe’s secure payment page. The contract is made when your payment is confirmed; you then receive our confirmation by email.
Before payment you can read and accept the applicable version of these terms. Your order confirmation includes that full text, the purchase details and your separate consent choices. You can also recover your purchases and saved order documents through your optional customer account.
4. Delivery
Digital purchases are delivered in the app as soon as your payment arrives, on the Mac you bought them on, and can be restored on another Mac with your email address and order number.
A printed poster is made after you have paid and the app has sent the poster file; it then arrives within the dates shown before you paid, and at the latest within 30 days. If we see it will be later, we tell you and you may cancel for a full refund.
Check the preview, wording, size, frame, quantity and delivery details before paying. Contact us promptly if you need a change or cancellation. Production can start quickly, so changes are not guaranteed; we will agree any additional cost with you first. Your rights for an incorrect, faulty or late order remain unaffected.
5. Your right of withdrawal
Gift codes: you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason, as long as the code has not been used. Use the withdrawal page (https://www.memorento.com/en/withdraw/), send us the form below or any clear statement by email (support@memorento.com). We refund within 14 days, the way you paid; the code then stops working.
Digital content is supplied immediately only at your express request and after you acknowledge that you lose the ordinary right of withdrawal when supply begins. We record these choices separately from acceptance of the terms and provide the required confirmation. Without the required consent, acknowledgement and confirmation, the statutory withdrawal right is not excluded. This does not affect remedies for non-delivery or defective content.
Printed posters are made to your own design, from your photos. That is why there is no right of withdrawal for them once paid. Your guarantee (section 6) does apply.
6. Guarantee and complaints
Digital content and printed products must conform to the agreed description and applicable law. If something is missing, damaged, incorrect or does not work as promised, contact us. We provide the repair, replacement, price reduction or termination and refund required by law, free of charge and within the applicable time limits. EU consumers have at least the minimum legal guarantee, including longer protection where national law provides it.
Report problems promptly with your order number and a description. Photos of the problem and packaging may help us investigate; contact us for return instructions before sending a print back. A supplier’s internal claim period does not replace or shorten your statutory rights. You deal with us for the remedy.
Complaints and questions: support@memorento.com. We answer within 14 days.
7. Your photos
You retain the rights in your photos and designs. You must have permission to use and share the content you submit. You give us only the permission needed to produce, deliver and support your order, including necessary quality checks and handling a complaint. This does not grant permission to publish your private artwork or use it for advertising.
We access an order file only where needed to fulfil or support the order. Photos and messages sent through friends’ upload links are encrypted on their device; we cannot open that encrypted content. Illegal content is prohibited. Reports and authority requests can be sent to support@memorento.com.
8. The app
You may use the app and the artwork and videos you purchase for yourself and the people you give them to, not for resale. Keep your own backup of projects, photos and delivered files: the optional account recovers purchases, not your local library. We provide updates necessary to keep digital content or services in conformity for the period required by law and explain any installation steps you need to take.
9. Liability
Our liability is governed by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any mandatory consumer right. Using a payment or print provider does not remove our responsibilities as seller.
10. Disputes and applicable law
Dutch law applies, but you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you may go to the courts there.
If something goes wrong, write to us first (support@memorento.com): we want to solve it. We are not obliged to take part in consumer dispute resolution and do not take part in it; you can find the bodies in your country through the European Commission’s Consumer Redress site.
11. Changes
The version supplied and accepted for your order applies to that purchase. Later updates apply to future orders and do not retrospectively reduce your agreed or statutory rights.
Model withdrawal form
Complete and send this form only if you wish to exercise a statutory right of withdrawal. You may also send any clear statement by email.
